A little gallery for the family's favourite member
We started Fur & Frame because buying a pet portrait felt like a gamble: pay first, wait a week, hope it looks like them. We thought you should see it first.
The brush, explained
Your portrait is created with digital painting tools, guided by your photos and one of our nine carefully tuned styles. That's how we can show you a preview in about a minute, rather than a week.
We don't call it hand-painted, because it isn't. What we do promise is that nothing is printed until you've chosen or approved it: the preview you pick is the portrait we print. Your portrait is painted at full print resolution from the start, so the print is exactly the picture you saw, never repainted or touched up afterwards. Names and dates are typeset by us, never drawn by the painting tools, so they appear exactly as you typed them. Every print file is checked automatically for print resolution at full size, and one that falls short is held for a person to look at before it goes anywhere near a printer.
Printed and framed in the UK
Prints, frames, canvases and ornaments are made by our print partner, Prodigi, at their UK labs (200gsm matte fine art paper, solid wooden frames with shatterproof acrylic glazing, and artist-grade canvas) and sent to you by tracked delivery.
We paint any pet: dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, horses, birds and reptiles, up to three in one portrait.
Fur & Frame is run by a small UK team, part of Highfold Group Ltd.
What happens to your photos
- Used only for your portraitSent to our image partner purely to paint your portrait (who that is), and to our print partner only as the final print file.
- Never in our advertsWe won't use your photos or portrait in marketing unless you give us separate permission.
- Deleted automaticallyPreviews you don't order: after 30 days. Order photos: six months after delivery.
- Location data strippedWe remove hidden photo metadata (like GPS) the moment you upload.
